Submit a film
We want to see your film. What we offer is a real theater in Cincinnati for one night, an audience that came on purpose, your title on the marquee, and a recap afterward that you can keep. Our first screening, Interface at the Esquire Theatre in October 2025, drew 56 people to a 74-seat room.
What we’re looking for
- Independent and experimental work, any length, any form. Animation, documentary, fiction, things that don’t fit those words.
- Finished, or finished enough to show.
- Something you have the right to screen publicly, or can get the right to. If a distributor holds it, tell us who; we have been through a licensing round and know the questions to ask.
How it works
There is no fee to submit. If we screen your film, we agree the terms with you up front and in writing before we book a room. The theater sells the tickets and runs the projector; we bring the film, the words and the people.
What to send
Email us with:
- A link to a screener (a private Vimeo or YouTube link is fine; please don’t attach files)
- A sentence or two about the film and about you
- Runtime, year, and where it has played, if anywhere
- One still we could use, and who to credit
We watch everything we are sent, and we reply to everything, though not always quickly.
